The Challenge

Makkar Multispeciality Hospital is a 50-bedded multispeciality healthcare facility located in the heart of East Delhi, offering services across five core specialities: Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Urology, and Dental care. The hospital had built a reliable reputation in the local community over many years, backed by a highly qualified and dedicated team of doctors and paramedical staff. Despite this established standing, the hospital had almost no digital presence.

In an era when patients instinctively turn to Google to search for nearby specialists, compare healthcare providers, and look up doctor credentials before booking appointments, Makkar Multispeciality Hospital was essentially invisible online. There was no structured website, no Google My Business optimisation, and no ability for patients to find, evaluate, or contact the hospital through digital channels. All new patient acquisition relied on word-of-mouth and physical proximity a significant constraint on growth.

The challenge was compounded by the trust dimension inherent in healthcare: patients making decisions about their health and that of their families need to feel confident in a provider before they even make the first call. Without a website featuring doctor profiles, speciality information, facilities photography, and clear appointment pathways, that trust could not be established digitally. The hospital was losing patients to competitors who, regardless of clinical quality, had a more polished and accessible online presence.

the solutions

The Plan

Monarch Web World approached the Makkar Hospital project with a patient-first design philosophy recognising that every design and content decision needed to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and make the path from search to appointment as frictionless as possible.

The website was structured to immediately communicate credibility and speciality breadth. A bold, colour-coded speciality bar on the homepage Surgery (green), Gynaecology (teal), Paediatrics (orange), Urology (blue), Dental (pink) gave patients instant visual navigation to their area of need. Each speciality linked to a dedicated page with service descriptions, doctor credentials, and treatment information written in accessible, reassuring language.

Doctor profiles were a central feature of the build. Each specialist’s page included their photograph, MBBS/DNB qualifications, fellowship details, and areas of expertise the information patients look for when choosing a healthcare provider. The “About Makkar” section featured exterior and interior facility photography, reinforcing the physical quality of the 50-bedded institution. A prominent “Make an Appointment” CTA was embedded across all key pages.

The SEO strategy focused on local search domination for East Delhi healthcare queries. Speciality-specific pages were optimised for searches like “best paediatrician East Delhi,” “dental clinic East Delhi,” and “multispeciality hospital near me.” Google My Business was fully optimised with consistent NAP data, photos, and service categories. A review acquisition strategy was implemented to build the hospital’s local authority score progressively.

"Patients now find us easily on Google and book appointments directly through the website. Our new patient numbers have grown significantly, and the quality of our digital presence now matches the quality of our care."
